Another part of the process of working on the look and feel of B,B & B; is now checked as I finally got around to adding facebook. A facebook page to be exact. There you can check out the brands and products I love as well as being able to see new posts and updates. So go ahead and click on the new icon!
Product love; Orée Pouch
There are so many great products out which are beautiful, inspiring and useful that I could not resist making a second product love and maybe even a weekly series. I saw the Orée keyboard, loved the traditional take on a usually ugly yet key piece of office equipment and headed right over to the company's website. Where I saw... the accompanying leather pouch.
I personally only recently started using a iPad, even though we had had one in the home since series one came out, because typing on a screen for more than three words sucks (p.s. I hate text messaging). I now have ongoing cramps in both hands. So how great would it be to be able to type and be mobile, all while not losing out in the hipness stakes or ending up with early onset arthritis.

{Preview} room by ZoBo
An update as we finally get going on realizing Zoe Isobel's little girl's paradise. And by me I mean my managing to successfully coerce the hubby into action. Here are a few pics of her new hanging clothes storage and the art which she picked out herself. The cupboard is reused with some pimping in the form of pink dots and the black Muuto's found a purple sisters. Who said three year olds and their parents don't have good taste? Even Kitty approves, but more importantly so does Zoe Isobel.

Product love; hang-it all
I love pretty much everything from Ray and Charles Eames, including the hang-it all coat rack. I think it would be a great fun addition to the hall or kids room but always end up reconsidering due to a case of color boredom fear. Let's face it, there is no getting around the multi-colored balls. So when they came out with the walnut version, I swooned. Now with the latest take being ombré shades in red, green and white (pictured), I squeal with girlie happiness! Now where to finally hang this baby?

Arrival station
The first update I started this year is the hall off the front door. A little space often overlooked and used as a dumping ground for shoes, bags and keys. Even though our space was relatively sane with the storage aspect tackled, I thought it could use a bit extra oomph.
I changed the color all of two shades, giving it more of a gray undertone and gave the surrounding walls a new crisp white coat. The baby car seat is no longer needed and out. A photo reminder of a holiday together with the hubby now has pride of place with a similar reminder of our honeymoon and of our daughter’s pregnancy. I brought a pair of plants pots out of hibernation, which now hold some much needed greenery. The lamp with the bright red cord (can be hung or laid flat) and the geometric trays add a color pop.
Twitability
Twitter is defined as an online social networking and microblogging service that enables users to send, read and follow text-based messages with a maximum of 140 characters. Insanely popular and spawning it’s own vocabulary with words such as tweets, tweeting and tweeter.
P. S. on sale here.
That much said I am not a follower as I don't think I could cope with a max of 140 characters. However I still think the Twitable birdcage by Seletti is a fun reference to this world of short communiques as well as being a great way to showcase whatever is tickling your fancy at the moment. If they had it in a silver or matte finish, it would be sitting on my own dining room table!
P. S. on sale here.
My giant cookie
This summer has been about baking cookies. My daughter loves helping in the kitchen especially if she can actually do stuff and eating some raw dough is always a bonus. After several batches of tiny painstakingly shaped cookies or plain circles I thought, hmm. we love cookies, so why not super size them. Fun and quick. I ate him all by myself (don't worry not on the same day).Chug, chug!
Am I the only one thinking thank god it’s Friday? In need of some serious Rest & Relaxation. So how great it sounds to A. sit in a hot tub. B. drift along with countryside views without working up a sweat rowing. C. have folks doing a double take with the WTF face.
Fashion favs...accessorize
Recently posted about summer clothes. For which you of course need summer accessories. I am an accessories girl pur sang. As much as I like clean lines (on others), I love accessories more. They make fashion fun and even with the same basics they make a new outfit. What’s not to love?
Hyena Sunglasses
Sunglasses are probably the ultimate summer accessory. I specifically starting wearing contact lenses again so I could pop a pair on my nose. Rocking my shades and listening to music in the comfort of ice-cold car air-conditioning is summer,.. even on the way to work.
I like them a little funky, out-there and a bit weird. So guess how much I love these aptly named Hyena sunglasses which is a collaboration between Hydes Spectacles and Ann-Sofie Back.

Pomegranate & pine nut salad
It's been hot. Scorching, kids don't want to play outside hot! Fair to say, that standing above a hot stove is not on the top of the wish list. I stay bring on the salads. But what to make that is not same oh, run of the mill, been there & done that. In others p-l-a-i-n. And that maybe incorporates some summer fruit love?
We settled for a salad of pomegranate balsamico grilled chicken skewers (all grilling is done by the hubby), garlic ciabatta croutons, a mix of rucola & basil leaves, parmesan shavings, pine nuts and topped off with a spicy pomegranate reduction and of course pomegranate seeds. Surprisingly filling, fun and definitely not boring.

Fashion favs..clothe me
Lately I've been very into to topics related to in & around the home. Time for some fashion, me thinks.
I originally wanted to post just a couple of summer items, but I am so big-hearted when it comes to beautiful clothes, shoes, bag,..anything really, it had to be cut right down the middle. These are the clothes I definitely wouldn't mind rocking!

Go to the fair, go to the playground
I joke with my husband about my extensive list of web shops, brands and products being the most valuable thing on my computer. So I thought why not share the awesomeness?
First up to bat: The Graphic playground. Recently added to my digital like list after a visit to my old school town during the Arnhemse Stockdagen (yet to unpack half of the goodies). I got the cutest little stamp set, pencils, handmade pink crepe coffee cup and got to see and feel the lamps from Studio Moss Design which I have been salivating over for months. All with a dosis of great service as they helped me find another lovely shop.
The shop is cute, small, independent and breathes creativity and originality in the products it carries but also in the shop design itself. I love the simple shelving and presentation displays made out of OSB sheets. Très créatif, no? Check out their facebook via the site for more of their great photos or take a 360 tour.
