Dragon's den

I wrote about my war paint yet most of the time I’m happily bare-faced. That said I still want  the 'natural no-make up’ look but with actually no make-up.

GRRRRRR

I could not resist a little post about this tiger rug from Moustache. I love quirky design and how can you not chuckle when you see this rug? Designed by artist/musician Dylan Martorell, hand tufted from 100% pure wool, it's a fun and modern taken on gentlemen's club animal skins.
P.S. no tigers were harmed in the making of this rug but your wallet will be..strand by lovely strand handmade calls for some major coin but I so would!

Spring wardrobe details

Details make or break an outfit. So when the wardrobe gets a spring update, the details follow suit.

The bomber

This is combination falling after the fact for the friend or the not so good-looking of the bunch otherwise known as personality. What am I on about? Well I stated my love for the slit-arm blazer in the wishlist but ending up going a completely different direction..

Schedule

Last week was a bit of light week for which no apologies because I now remember how grrreat sleep is, especially good when a stud (my son is a gorgeous superhero in training or am I not allowed to say that..) climbs in at two am. But back to the schedule, which is a little plumper for the relative restful week;

Fierce

For Zoetjes.
The print is one that I earmarked months ago for one of the last spots on the kids art wall and not just for the look..

Bottled quotes

I mentioned my love for this fun jar from Make History a little while back. All the while still saving fun little quotes in my phone. One day, I decided ‘heck, my memories are worth it’!

Blooming dots

Some things you never outgrow, like moving your s**it around or nicely put forever changing your space up.

Schedule

I have so many ideas bubbling in my head, that sometimes I get side-tracked and it never makes it from idea to post. On the flipside I also often start on a post, need to finish off a detail and miss my intended timeline. This week’s posts are all in those categories;

Dutch Skies @ Textiel museum

To be honest when the Textile Museum ended up being the work-outing activity I got slotted into I was a bit bummed. Fuddy duddy and boring came to mind despite the knitting hype.

March wished

designedlifeblog.blogspot.com march wishlist

Last week I shared my spring wardrobe based on the pieces in my wardrobe. Here are the pieces I’m wishing would secretly appear in there as well.

March looked

I shared a few of my February outfits, saw lots of comfortable and was interested in seeing if jeans and flats are the norm and decided to take a look at some of my favourite looks.

Love my space, love my gear, so what do you do when your gear is squished in your space? You make the storage better of course!

Schedule

Every week I grossly underestimate the time I need to get a post up and running and every week I end up thinking 'this week I stop blogging'

Spring

designedlifeblog.blogspot.com spring blossom

I know, I know, there are quite a few spring posts. Heck, yesterday’s post was my perfect spring scent. And while I can’t promise no more spring posts, I can safely say this one means the most to me.

Spring scent

I love scent. Plain old unscented candles, no way and so of course my person never goes without a pretty little whiff, even if ‘I’m just wearing my bathrobe with 'help, I just got out of bed hair’.

Winter to spring wardrobe

I originally planned this post last week but since I underestimated how chore tired I am and how annoying it would be to get that ginormous mirror home and mounted, it got the axe at schedule time. This is actually a three-parter with the details side of things, fingers crossed, planned for next week and a wish-list after that.

Park & Chaste; bedroom vignette

This spot was originally occupied by my runners and subsequently by some art and a Hay J77 chair with one of my growing Wang bag collection but since my son’s third birthday the chair is now his dinner tushee spot. Leaving me a blank spot to start over and while my inspiration was an art collection, this is where we ended up.

Schedule

designedlifeblog.blogspot.com kitchen window

I did another weekend of springtime chores in springtime rain and overcast cloudiness despite my initial idea of doing less. Mostly tidying up my own little secret garden.

Caged

The hall is the first place you see but often a dumping ground of coats, shoes, scarfs and other paraphernalia.

Shelf it

I like my mess hidden away in drawers and cupboards, unseen and hidden from sight. Out of sight, out of mind. Perfectly neat on the surface, chaos below.
