Barn views

I love a good conversion, especially of buildings not intended for residential use. The ancient party barn my Liddicoat & Goldhill is a gorgeous example of doing just that. The interior is warm, the simple black cladding is effortless and minimal. But it's the doors and windows on this place that get my juices going. Deep sills, cantilevered openings and hidden windows. Each one in itself a feature, but together they make this building!

Warmth

I saw this photo by Annie Spratt at Unsplash and felt immediately inspired. I love bright, happy and most of all crisp pictures. I love the way colours pop against white. But I saw this and it induced thoughts of lush, rich and heavenly sinfulness. Not a bad way to go and so I'm determined to give dark, earthly, warm food styling a go!

Man things

I showed you my pretty little things last week. This week the guys are up. This is the man station, otherwise known as the only bit of bathroom space that isn't mine! The tray is from Madam Stoltz and the Iris Hantverk badger brush is via Objects of Use.
