I enjoy sleeping in and especially staying in.  A good weekend is a slow weekend…spent in bed. Waking with the sun streaming through the windows, having a late breakfast under the covers and spending the day online. Reading, shopping and working here. Basically glued to a screen with munchies at hand.
But since I’m a crumb-a-phobe with an overheated laptop, it was time for a bed tray. When I saw the Skogsta cutting board from Ikea, I knew exactly what I wanted. I mean it’s the perfect size for my laptop, so how amazing would it be as a bed tray?
I think it’s pretty darned amazing. Oiled to bring out the wood grain and a set of hairpin legs and we’re good to go. The hanging hole makes the perfect spot to guide my cables or pop my magazine in.
This is my perfect slow weekend. Lazing in bed in my oh-so wrong it’s right bed robe, with an amazing amount of pillows and cushion. My ultimate breakfast treat of extra strong, super sweet percolator coffee with a plateful of homemade Italian cookies form my favourite delicatessen. And after that surfing like crazy till I need my next snack...
 Have a great (slow) weekend!

P.S. the Australian snapper (salted caramel & almond nougat dark chocolate) is addictively good..
