I saw this rocking horse the other day while browsing online and was instantly smitten. After bikes and trikes, the rocking horse is the toy that I fall for again and again. This one is so minimal and pared back, making it every minimalist parent’s dream choice for their imaginative kids. It’s my dream choice.
A bit, okay a lot pricier than say the battery operated plush versions but like Kevin McCloud (Grand Designs) once stated ‘you pay a lot for no handles’. That generally goes for all minimal design including rocking horses. On the plus side there are few things as unbending as steel, so it should last a lifetime or at least a childhood. From Blooey (Remco Verhaagen, Stephen Boom) and available online in their shop or at Femkeidoshop where I spotted it.
