Who has not seen and loved the City of Champions print from Playtype? I actually have a print from that collection that will probably pop up here some time soon. But what I want to show you is their latest work; the shy prints.
I saw these awhile back and they took my breath away. The way the letter seems to be floating away from the page, delicate but still quite strong & graphic and ultimately striking. The fact that this was literally my high school nickname just makes it more appealing.
I don’t mind being shy or that being mistaken for anything else and neither do these prints. At 50 by 70 cm they stand out in their simplicity. Unapologetic and unequivocal bold in their shyness.
